64 F100 460/C6 mounts

Got a 64 F100 and am putting a 73 Lincoln 460 and C6 in it...

Anyone ever use this engine cross member?
Big Block Ford Current Big Block Motor Mount

And this trans mount?

Thanks in advance!

blue64.....My 64 has the same motor and year in it. And that mount looks like the same I have in mine. I do not like the way the PO installed it / mounted, welded it to the frame, but it has worked. The ends of the motor mount are welded to the top of the frame.
The trans mount looks correct and or like mine as well.
I am currently pulling my motor due to bad crank. And I am alos asking about degree of angle for my engine seems to be to much at 5 degree on intake flange.

I wish my truck looked as nice as yours! What master cylinder are you running? Have to modify the rod or mount at all? I still need to buy a mastercyl/booster...

Purchased from Speedway and ordered the front disc brake kit same time. Everything fit up great. Yes, had to move the rod from the brake peddle to booster. But for the most part fits up in same area.

Just north of Rockford.....If you need any details you can PM me and i will see what I can do to help out. But there are a lot of good people on here that know a lot more then me. Purchased the truck already painted and the drive train installed, however a LOT of mechanical issues, as i knew before purchasing. I did add power steering and power brakes.
good luck on your venture with the '64!

I am doing the same build and have a question. HAMS64 is your motor centered in the truck's factory transmission tunnel so the motor is offset to the passenger side by 3" or so? How about you Blue64F100?

Hey Doug,
Sorry I didn't see your question earlier...you probably have the engine in by now...
I tell ya the darn engine has been out of the truck so long that I cant remember exactly, but I would have to say from all the times I was in it, under it, the trans was set up in the middle...

Need to move towards the driver side to leave room for passenger exhaust to clear the upper A-arms of the corvette IFS suspension.

Hammy thanks for your answer. Here is the picture of mine. It's not mounted yet. It is centered in the transmission tunnel and is way off center in the frame. I want it more centered, but have to move the power brake booster first. Less than a 1/4" between the booster and the valve cover. Yikes!

Doug,
I have also been following your post on the install. I think you are getting it cleared up but yea, motor in this pic is way left. Here is a shot of under hood, no motor, but you can tell it is sitting more to one side. Again sorry about that, just haven't had the motor in for some time. Also I have some shots of the under hood when the motor was in in my album. Keep in mind, my engine was sitting at such an angle I am sure for a reason or two. Not good. Well, the overall way in which it was installed is a bit hacked if you will. Thus I am somewhat glad the crank gave out. Gave me the reason to move forward with a CVPI swap. Going Monday to check out a few of them. Good luck on the project!
Hammy
