This is a very original truck in remarkable condition. It does not have fancy trim or special options, but somtimes the simple ones bring out the body lines and other features. I really like this one! Of course I'm a sucker for 80/81's and straight 6's so of course I like it. Thanks for sharing David
I like it! Nice original truck and with the good transmission vs the SROD. Hard to find them like this anymore. Somebody here should jump on this one if they can, and if the seller doesn't want too much for it. It's bid to $2550 as of this writing and it's not met reserve, so who knows. But a call to the number listed should sort that out.
What axle is code "15"?

Reason: More info
15 = Ford 9" Rear Axle / 3.25-1 / no Limited Slip / 3,750 lbs. capacity.
Perfect ratio for these trucks IMO. I had a 2.47 with a SROD in my '81, and it's now got a craigslist 3.50 3rd member in it. But, I am going to build or buy complete a 3.25 unit; the 3.50 was a cheap find and solved the immediate ratio problem, but after putting some miles on that setup, it reaffirms the 3.25.
I know we've been talking about how original this one is, but man, it's begging for some performance engine add ons and a toploader or WC T5.
