I'm glad I have a mechanic. You might not want to hear it, but it's still cheaper than buying a new one.

Go Fund Me page, not a bad idea.

I'll probably keep this truck to the end of the year and then trade it in on something else...not a Ford. No way I would sell this to an individual. My conscience won't allow it.

yes, and you basically got someone else's tested and passed fuel pump....you didnt get a brand new one....and someone later down the road is going to pay almost 6k in parts and labor for yours.

I haven't put enough miles on it yet to say "yes" 100%. I have a 250 mile trip this weekend so I'll see how it performs.
