6.0 middle PCM connector

My truck will only start when I unplug the middle connector of the pcm. Does anyone know how I can fix th issue so the truck won't require me to do this?

Did you do the things advised in your other thread (yesterday) on this issue?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...lp-needed.html

Try unplugging sensors?
Get scan tool data?

Going to try scan tool. Made this thread because I couldn't figure out which middle pcm connector did. Just to clarify for an answer.

A lot of stuff. Here is the pin out description for the pcm connectors.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/a...7&d=1340424187

A wiring diagram
https://www.ford-trucks.com/ford-man...%20diagram.pdf

I'm not sure how that info is going to help fix your issue but we all learn in different ways.

Eric - nice to have the wiring diagram. Thanks. Do you happen to have the wiring diagram for the "single generator" configuration also?

I'll have to look on my laptop Mark, I didn't realize this was the dual alt diagram when I posted the link, but I do remember having both. when I was on the Windows laptop I would save a copy of the actual document but on my iPad I just save links and hope the document doesn't go away on the web. That's the only link I have access to right now.

I think I uploaded all that to the other thread.

Maybe John should combine both.

Just pulled the DTC codes. It's engine coolant temperature circuit high input, engine oil temperature sensor circuit high input, and injection control pressure censor circuit input low. I'm gonna try to unplug the ICP today and see what happens.

Take a look at the harness where it comes down to the
temp sensor on your truck. Some times that section
of harness as it gets fuel spilled on it over time will get
mushy and the insulation fails and you have a short.
