Art, will you have to move if you get one of the jobs?

Eventually, both jobs are in another state. I am all for flying back and forth, but the kiddos may not be. It also depends on which job I get. A M-F job would change things quite a bit. Shift work affords me lots of time off. So we shall see....

Great news Art! Hope things continue going well. When you find a job you're really happy with, and a job that they are happy with you, it will make it all worth it.

That is for sure, I have an awesome job right now and love it. Unfortunately changes are a coming! I am not 100% sure that we will make it thru the next 5 years. For instance we already lost almost 50% of our funding for 1/1/2020. So I think I am going to test the waters and see what my options are.

Good luck!
THANK YOU !!!

Parked it next to a loaner that is the same make and model of the next family truckster. Not many family vehicles make an excursion look small. This one does.

So after a huge wind storm yesterday with gusts topping 100 MPH i'm going on 18 hours without power at home. Been running on the generator since 10pm last night. Woke up around 6am and at 6:40 the generator shut down, out of fuel. Jumped in the truck and ran down to the gas station to fill up 3 cans. We were really unprepared for this one and should really take things a little more serious. Temps were near freezing and once the wind stopped it started snowing/raining. Best part is the power came back on for a few mins and I realized it killed my TV in my bedroom so just had to buy a new 55" tv also.

Not much sleep but at least we had heat and the fridges and freezer were running!

Curious if these are available in 4wd? Seems I recall reading they are not. Also, curious about towing, RAWR numbers on them.

Product Overview

They are, for a price... and not directly from Nissan.

Nissan showing 8700 lb towing capacity with optional class 4 hitch and V8 engine. 6200 with V6 engine.

Definitely not a direct comp. to the excursion.

Got me curious about the Ford Transit vans. They seem good for hauling cargo and not much more. Anemic tow rating of 4500.

No matter, my van days are over with. No better way to haul 4 kids around than a conversion van. Nobody has to touch!
