Insert a 2018 Honda Ridgeline and it will probably say "okay" but I know which one I'd rather be driving.

When I did that, the disclaimer went away. Anyways....the Jeep search is still on. Was just preparing for how to bring it home.

They can decline you a rental trailer based on that, but will often overlook it if your whip is in good shape. If I recall correctly any soft top car or SUV will also show generate a no on that Uhaul questionnaire.
They did say that my EX could tow a Metro on a dolly. It was a struggle, but thankfully the route home to Philly from Savannah is flat with no mountains.

I found Uhaul didn't want to rent me an auto transport for my Merc. I discovered it had to be one of the newer style ones for it to fit, and dimensionally it would. The tail just overhung past the trailer by quite a bit. It made the four hour trip north no problem, but without sway control and with such a long car on a short trailer, the trailer wanted to sway a lot more that it should. On the contrary, the Demco trailer I used to go pick the car up the first time towed it much better, but those are not for one way hauls.
