i found this in a box at a yard sale.no one knew what it was.i told them that a collect odd parts for my garage.they said here is a donation for your garage.does anyone know what it is and what kind of car it came off of ?

Looks similar to the 1949 or 1950 Ford Fordor (4 door) B pillar lamp bezel.
Flip the puppy over to see if there's any numbers marked on it.
Pontiac hood and decklid 'strato-streaks' were the brainchild of Pontiac division prez Semon E. Knudsen in the early 1930's.
His son, Semon E. "Bunkie" Knudsen removed them in 1958!
