New to Southern NV Need Mechanic

I moved from NY to Nevada last fall. I finally bought an '05 F350 CC, LB V10 out here and need a good, reputable Ford mechanic to look it over. I have no idea who to go to around here. I live in Vegas. Back in NY I usually tried to avoid dealer service and went to local shops that I knew and trusted after being in the area all my 46 years. Not so easy here.
Thanks,
Steve

70 views and no suggestions? Is it that bad out here? Maybe I send it back to NY for service?

Sorry, but I have no suggestions for you. I always have to do my own repairs.

Last I heard its in many pieces awaiting a full restoration in New Hampshire. Part of the deal I made with the new owner was that I get to drive it when it's done. I'm hopeful.
My new to me '05 is a little more complex.

I'm a bit late but I'll throw out my guy, only person I trust to work on my vehicles in this valley period if I can't handle it. He's also fixed several of my friends cars and trucks. Super reasonable.

Look up DOC Auto on East Lake Mead, North Las Vegas.

Damien is a great guy.

Thanks. I wish you had posted this a month ago. I'll keep them in mind for the future.

I just found the site yesterday while searching stuff for the Escape I just bought. He's out there a bit but worth the trip. Nice thing about Damien is he's the only guy that I've met that will let you buy your own parts and just charge labor to install.

He does prefer to use factory parts when he does though and I'm fine with that.

Just to give you an idea, quoted $1000 to $1500 for timing belt on Chrysler 300, Damien $475 OTD, my 4 runner front axle, $220 OTD his prices are way under anyone else and his shop is clean and well run, he doesn't screw around.

Probably the cleanest bathroom in all of Las Vegas......LOL.
