Looking for a small to mid size vehicle for daughter

Anyone got a line on a decent fixable small vehicle?

Starting the search to get something put together for my daughter as she begins to put her life back together again. She lost everything last year, and we have our oldest grand-daughter with us permanently.

So...daughter is needing a car/truck to get to and from work. I'll make it mechanically right if I can find the right deal.

Doesn't have to be pretty, just mechanically fixable and able to be made safe. Close to Nashville is a bonus.

Thanks all!

Hi,

Re: Mechanic's special

I have a 2000 Subaru Forester wagon; 200,000 miles, gray, A/T, A/C, small rust spot on rt. rear 1/4 panel.
Car has an intermittent overheating issue (about once a week). My guess is a leaky cyl. head gasket.

$ 500 It would need a car dolly to haul it away.

Thanks for the information. I should have this thread closed as we have her a car to drive now. Thanks!
