I saw on Facebook yesterday that 5star had a 2017 f250 White Long bed on the dyno.

Hopefully they can find a 350 with a 6.2 in it to tune as well.

I will be curious to see what results they get.

I have NO feeling one way or the other on 5 star..

research for yourself..
Ford made NO major change to the 2017 except the body and frame.. small increase in HP .. no change in torque..
made the 250 transmission lighter... that is it.
all the real Ford information is posted on this Forum.. look it up.. it's FREE...

Sorry Chuck but you're not quite right. Torque is up to 430 at a lower 3800 rpm. This was done with cams and larger valves. HP stayed at 385. The motor is definitely improved in the new SD.
I'm really looking forward to the new 5star tuning numbers.

So am I. I have had a 5star tuned truck and I think the tuner is worth every penny.

I kept my last SCT X4 from my prior 6.2 thinking I may try some of their stuff on my new 2017. They told me they would have something in the spring this year but I recently emailed them again and they were still working on it.

They just released numbers today on Facebook. Go check them out. 87 octane tune is picking up 18-20 HP and 25-28 more torque over stock 87 tune.

hi yes we are completed with the 87 octane fuels moving on to higher octanes next but we found that the 2017 6.2L puts more power to wheel than previous gen 1 6.2L SD 2011 -2016 . Here is what we are seeing . We will also remap the trans in normal and tow/haul modes, t/h mode really needs some better engine braking... Have a super duty day!

Thank you 5star! It's great that you have got numbers now, and I'm really impressed at what you have done on the new 6.2.

Agreed.

Now I am hoping you can find an F350 gasser with 3.73s to play with.

This is the chart you sent me on 4/8/16. Curious why the torque and HP are more compared to what you are showing in your current chart for the 2011-2016 6.2?

I find those gains in the new 2017 impressive over the 11-16 SD trucks.
65 lb-ft in torque and 40 hp better. Looks like the new Torqshift-G transmission is WAY (~15%) more efficient than the previous 6R140 in the 6.2. To not change the 385 HP rating and to pick up 40 HP and ~35 torque just thru the transmission....impressive.
