There were MAF OBD-I trucks starting in 1994. Just because it is MAF does not make it OBD-II.

Didn't know that obviously. Wouldn't that be confusing with a service manual?

Your truck is right on the edge of the model year change over that would make it OBD-II. Check the VECI label under the hood. It should state whether the vehicle is OBD-I or OBD-II.
What is the letter in the 10th position of the VIN? This will determine the manufacturer's model year.

S=1995
T=1996

So if it is a 1995 MY truck it will be OBD-I. If it is a 1996 MY it will be OBD-II.

What exactly makes 96 intake & TB cover unique?

Only way I know to ID under the hood a I vs a II is the diagnostic port ain't there in the corner, no air pump & count the number of wires on the mass-air meter.

They wanted 11K for it and I had no interest so I really just glanced at the pic before I called. It said 6cyl and 1995. I glanced at the MAF and intake manifold and called to check on the year. Just a bad assumption from a quick glance. Anyway here is the pic. Nice 6 !!!! Being sold by a dealer BTW..

that pic underhood shows a v 8 intake. I have a 96 f 250 that has map and not maf. My truck has a 5.8. I have encountered a few other oddities and it was made in 12/95 according to the vin.
just saying!

yep it's a 302. The reason I mention the Haynes or service manual is that I don't think my 95 books say anything about a maf. If it doesn't It just seems like it could be confusing. If it does, I haven't paid any attention to it.

Did any 95 4.9's come with a MAF or OBD2?

Your truck is exempt from OBD-II since the GVWR is above 8500 lbs. That's why it's still Speed Density OBD-I.

Alright, got the codes.
KOEO
122 for the throttle position sensor below minimum voltage
542 fuel pump secondary circuit fault

Constant
122 again
128 MAP sensor/vacuum hose disconnect or damage
332 insufficient EGR flow detected
542 again

Didn't do KOER because they can supposedly be skewed while the system doesn't pass the KOEO.

Any suggestions on where I should start?

Codes have been posted. Let me know where y'all think I should begin.
