Good evening gents. Just a quick flyby while I have a bit of a cell signal. All good here. In McBride, BC. First cell service in 5 days. Lots of woods and trees and long lonely, uninhabited back roads in the Yukon.

Happy birthday Canada! Should be a crazy weekend with all the celebrations.

Be careful on the roads Shawn, likely to be lots of crazies out this weekend both sides of the border..

 

No doubt. So far traffic has been pretty good. I expect lots of folks are traveling now and will be hunkered down for the weekend at their favorite spots so daytime traffic may not be too bad. Challenge will be finding a place to camp tomorrow - probably boondocking in a gravel pit somewhere.

 

The police will be out in full force watching everyone's speed...

 

Saw my first RCMP today - one in 7,000 miles and over a month.
