Spare tire lift

My 1999 F350 spare tire lift just went out. Only used it two or three times since new. Any buddy have one or know where to pick one up for a fare price? Thanks,

Chet

You might shoot a PM to Nicmike. He has helped out quite a few FTE members when looking for an odd item like this.

I went to a salvage yard and purchased one for $25 which was their minimum price for a part. It appeared to work at the yard. Got it home and installed it. Began to wind up the spare and it crapped the bed about 3/4 of the way up. I then decided to just buy a new one.

If you take that part number and google it, there are other alternatives.

I'll give you one for shipping costs. It's rough on the outside but it works up and down smooth as silk. I'm not sure if I still have that key part to it though.

1999 didn't have a key. Just the crank and go. I'm at 92860, let me know what the shipping is and I'll send it out. Thank you and God bless,
Chet

jhl3, I called some salvage yards and the closest one that had it wanted the price of a new one from auto nation. I thought I'd look around after that one.

I'll remove it, box it and weigh it today and get the price. I'm leaving town for a while so it'll have to go in tomorrow's mail or wait a week or so.

PM sent, don't want to spend more in postage than it costs at your local scrap yard.

You don't need the tube do you? That would probably throw us into a more expensive box. Answer your PM!
