10-4, nah..4.10's
Went under the knife this morning. Be ready later today or tomorrow morning. With what I saw(and posted pics somewhere) few months back when changing great oil, I knew I was on borrowed time. Let alone, pulling the toyhauler to mammoth in 2wks... So, I'm having them install 4.10....... Ask you SoCal kats, she's at Unitrax, here in Placentia

I would highly recommend you get at least 500 miles of driving on the gears. Then do a 50 mile tow with the trailer and then dump the oil and put in fresh oil before doing any serious towing.

to funny.. This companys' reputation proceeds them, and that's exactly what he said. Drive her for 50 miles with 20-25min intervals allowing the gears to get hot and cool. Afterwards, ain't tow until 500 miles. I'm hitting the river next weekend, prior to mammoth, so there's my break in. I'll ask about the fluid change...

I also recommend after the 500 miles you hook the trailer up and do a quick 50 miles and then let it cool. That will finish off the break in process.
