4r100 to 4r100 PTO problem?

I need to have my transmission rebuilt or replaced.
It is a 4r100 in a 99 E350 w/ 7.3 PSD. I have someone offering me a diesel 4r100 with PTO. I have done some reading, and get conflicting reports on whether there would be some major problems or not. Just hoping someone has some knowledge on these, and can let me know either way. Thanks

There are NO issues with installing a PTO trans where there wasn't one before. It works exactly the same.

You can use a PTO transmission in place of a non-PTO transmission no problem.

Yes he did, but now the OP knows the God's honest truth to his question, with answers from both the trans guy and the PCM guy!
