Wife washed my pickup for me, scantily clad even!

Back story, she bent up her car a couple weeks ago when she backed squarely into the bucket of my backhoe. Now maybe it wasn't the best place for me to park the backhoe, but it's not like it jumped out from behind a bush! Now she is an excellent driver and never has issues and the car is a pretty easy fix. But I told her that since shes going to drive the pickup for a little while she had better give it a bath, and she did. Now to see if she can improve the ****ty mileage I've been getting out of this V10, like 8 - 10 mpg mostly short trips. A couple fuel tanks I've tried to run out of overdrive and it looks like the mileage improved, I think it's just too high geared with the 3.73's and 35" tires. Regearing might actually improve mileage. We'll see.
