Joe is right. Pigeon Forge is obviously trying to push him out, OR he's not telling the whole story. We're talking about a parking lot on a back road that will have been empty for one month prior to this event.
Chilhowee Park was the best place for a car / truck show .Attended in '07 &'09 . Will ask Charlie straight up while there in Oct. . What is the real true reason for the delay / indecision in dates ?

He posted about 30 mins ago that 'maybe' by noon tomorrow.
It is official .OCT 5-6-7 Pigeon Forge , Tn. on t=he parking lot of Dolly Splash Park Charlie posted on the face book site around 12:15 pm thur .About damn time !!!

swapped a couple of emails with him today... sounds like he's getting all his ducks lined up properly... told him I hoped it was bigger than the street rod nats.. in a few years... looking forward to it...
nice venue too... just wondering about truck space.. the google pic shows a reasonable parking lot beside the conv center... hope it goes into overflow. I hate to see Charlie choose those dates... I really think CTC is gonna hurt him then
