223 rear sump oil pan?
Hey guys, so I'm planning on doing the Crown Vic IFS in the 58 soon, and realized the oil pan sump on the old 223 will sit right where the cross member goes. I'd really like to keep the 223 since it runs so well, but I'm finding conflicting info regarding a rear sump pan for this motor. Now I know I'm going to have to figure something out for the oil pickup, but I'll cross that bridge when it comes. Does anyone know if they even made a rear sump back in the day? What does everyone else do, assuming there are other people out there who stick with the inline 6..?

Thanks for the reply! I saw that pan on eBay and actually asked the seller if he knew whether it was a rear or front sump, but I didn't get a reply, and now it's gone. I'll keep looking around. Can anyone else confirm this?
