That is a pretty dicey looking thing they sent for a breaker. At the very least, i would get a piece of tire tube or something to insulate some.

We use that style and they come in all sorts of different amp ratings with the warn 12k winch.

With that style circuit breaker you linked, am I correct in assuming that I would mount the circuit breaker (to a fender) and use a patch cable from the battery positive to the circuit breaker?

You eliminated the top of the battery cover?

Connecting at the starter gives a cleaner appearance.

That is correct. I just realized the one in the link is 42v but they are online everywhere. If it ever trips, a little lever pops out. slide it back to reset and its back on.

I bought an extra white rogers glow plug relay and am running power to the back of my truck using that because I wanted to be able to turn the power off.
