DC Power Alternator died

Yeah, it does .....
Screen shots from the video. DC should be asking you if these were tested. If the I circuit was not working though, you'd have a dash light. So it's really only the sense circuit that's important.
Sense circuit battery to alternator, tells how much the alternator should output.
I circuit, turns on the alternator (on/off) and indicator light that the alternator is not working at all.
Aftermarket replacement plug. Tab down, sense circuit on left, should be battery voltage always. Ignore the middle on this plug. I circuit on right, no voltage key off, some voltage key on, engine not running.

Jack,
I tested the sense and I circuits and everything checked out. I spoke with Anthony as DC Power he was stumped as they replaced my regulator and brushes. He asked me to check my current because if my normal amperage draw was too much it could cause problems. I told Anthony I would but regardless I NEED an alternator as I have my Army drill on Fri-Sun and the Army doesn't care about my alternator not working or whether I fry my batteries or FICM trying to get there.
I checked my current and it was between 19-21 amps. I informed Anthony and he said that was normal and he'd send a new alternator to me and I'd have it by Thursday. That is awesome. I know you're not a fan of DC Power's alternators but that type of customer service is rarely seen anymore and those are the types of companies I will do business with again.
I appreciate your help and I'll post an update when I get the alternator.

I thought they were fine, otherwise different issues. I’m glad your getting it fixed.
We have different perspectives, but I’m not bashing you here, so please don’t take it that way.
My Ford stock 110a never failed.
My Bosch 140a never failed.
My Leece-Neville 230a never failed.
Your DC failed, after paying for a repair it came back faulty.
You’re sending it back and a different one is being sent out.
To me excellent customer service is a reliable part.
Good customer service is repairing the part correctly the first time.
Your (everyone’s) time and peace of mind is worth a lot. Especially with a family and other obligations. A long time ago I came to the conclusion DC like some others have a rep by enthusiasm, not necessarily soundness. Just IMO.
Off the soapbox. Again, glad your getting taken care of and if I can in the future, like everyone else here, will be glad to help.
And thanks for your service.

I wish my 110A OEM didn't fail as it took my FICM and two batteries with it. I will never understand why Ford put such a low output alternator in our trucks.
I agree with you on all aspects, my DC never should have failed, it should have worked properly when I got it back, and there is a lot to be said for piece of mind. I'll also never get back all the hours spent trouble-shooting issues that shouldn't have taken place to begin with...although that could sum up my F250 as a whole. I was afraid DC Power was going to say "we just fixed it, don't know what to tell ya." so I am glad I won't have to drop more money on another alternator (I was going to buy an LN had I received a negative reply from DC). I whole heartedly agree it never should have been an issue to begin with, when I purchase something I expect it to work properly for a reasonable amount of time. I would have been livid had it left me on the side of the road in the middle of the desert with my family and a travel trailer.
I appreciate you thanking my for my service but it is my pleasure. I am honored and privileged to serve the greatest country known to man, to defend its people, our way of life and our Constitution.

Howdy. So the new alternator from DC Power arrived on Thursday 10/12 as Anthony said it would. I installed it and my volts immediately went up to 14.1. I drove it to Tucson and back Fri, Sat, and today, which is a total of 450 miles, and not a single problem. The lowest my volts dropped to was 13.2 for a fraction of a second when the alternator had warmed up and in about 90 degrees weather. So far it's working great and I'm glad to see we were all right...it had to be the alternator. I will be returning the old one I removed to DC Power on their dime.
I greatly appreciate your help, Jack, as well as from others who replied. Thanks for the ground paths, Yahiko. Talk to ya'all soon.
