It is great, I didn't have an EGT issue to begin with so there was no problem to try and fix. The main reason I built it was for towing, much better than stock in all aspects except it is a touch laggier with the 1.15ar.

305 what tires? 305/75/16? Need the full size

Best I can tell you are running a 305/65/17 tires which is a 32.61 tall tire. Your OD might be on but in the picture you posted, based on the speed and RPMs you are in 3rd gear.

Not bad for stock tune. Run a higher HP (more fuel) tow tune and you will quickly see the limits of the stock turbo.

What akcooper9 is talking about is where I currently am with my modified stock turbo. I have high flow outlet, billet wheel, turbomaster wastegate controller, 360 bearing, etc... I have to be in a heavy tow GH tune in order to keep the EGT's around 1100-1200. Although, the GH heavy tow tune is probably a stock tune with no added fuel and modified shift points for the transmission. The problem is that I have a ZF6 manual and I say when the transmission shifts, not the truck.

So, what I am getting at is that the fellas that are running the Borg Warner SXE are using added fuel tunes like 40HP, 60HP or whatever and lugging the truck and the EGT's are still below 1200. This would be impossible in a truck like mine (current modified stock turbo) and based on real world testing by akcooper9 impossible with the KC363. I don't think KC is pressing on with that turbo model, but that is what akcooper9 tested and it was very hot regarding EGT's.

The thing about the SXE is that it flows very well maintaining nearly a 1:1 between EBP and MAP which is an ideal situation. Even in added fuel tunes with stock injectors the EGT's are below 1200. When you start throwing larger injectors or hybrid injectors into the mix, the only thing that happens is that power is increased and EGT's stay the same. Obviously some of the larger injector trucks are running a 366SXE or 369SXE instead of the 364.5 SXE. Although, for stock injectors and 160/80 injectors the 364.5SXE is a great match. Even when lugging the engine going up a grade with a heavy load in 5th gear in a ZF6 truck the EGT's struggle to get above 1150.

Again, the price difference is negligible when you get the list sorted out and sell the OEM take off parts. People complain about the work involved with installing the T4 kit, but fail to realize that they have usually already done everything that the T4 requires to install. The T4 kit goes together much easier than the OEM collector and turbo could ever dream of.

Just food for thought for anyone reading this thread.

Asking the wrong person. I wouldn't waist my money on a BB drop in.

If you have an auto your factory stall is 1900 rpm. It's right there.
