jack tools

Anyone know where I can find the jack tools that fit behind the seat for my 1970 F-100? I have the jack itself under the hood but no tools behind the seat. Or else is there another year truck tool set that is the same or will work? Thanks

I picked everything up at a local junk yard. I haven't gotten around to cleaning them up yet, but when I do, a little sand paper and flat black paint will do the trick.

Go to a junkyard, look for a 1975 or newer Econoline (preferably 1975/91), then open the right back door.

The spare tire, jack, lug wrench and folding jack crank handle are located on the right side-rear of the quarter panel.

The folding jack crank handle was standard equipment for Econolines, optional for F100/350 & Bronco, it's still available from Ford.

D8AZ-1012-A (replaced B-1012) .. 1/2" -20 Lug Nut: Myriad 1932/90's FoMoCo vehicles without metric wheels.

1962: Ford redesigned the lug wrench. Has a slightly smaller end that is curved, used to remove the wheel cover and hub cap.

OK I am confused, are the tools stored underneath the seat or behind the seat? How do you raise the seat? I figured out how to tilt it forward, but that's it. I have a 70. The owners manual says behind the seat. I saw nothing nor any "clips" to hold in place.

The tools are stored behind the seat. To reach them, you have to slide the seat forward using the adjuster. Many seats do not have the tilt feature as they were bolted down like the Sport Custom seat in my 72 F-100 Custom. The jack handle was held with a clamp and a wing nut while the lug wrench had a clip.
