Well guys, I did it again. Went out an bought a bowtie . 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 SLT CCSB. One owner, maintenance records, in pretty nice shape. 6.0L gas engine and 4.10 gears. Should have no issues dragging my 7500lb trailer out to the campsites.

I find the company a lot better on this Ford forum compared to the gmc crew, so I'll still be around.

Body in good shape so of course I'm hoping for a huge hailstorm just like every year.

Does anyone think we should start a new thread for 2018 summer season or is this one just going to be immortal now?

Also, happy friday team.

I'm heading to SAIT next week for 3rd period of my apprenticeship. Sure wish I had started this when I was at least 10 years younger.

I vote that we keep it immortal but change it to more of an immoral thread.

I'm considering going to sait next year to get into IT. They have "fast track" programs for more mature students that sound pretty compelling.

GOIN ACROSS CANADA BC-ON IN A NEW 1968 f100 straight 6

Hey guys - I'm looking for guys with trucks who want to take a look at my brand new old truck as I go across the country in it. Let me know if you want to meet up. We made a video about it.

Hi there David and Don
Give me a shout if you want, I'm on the east side of Calgary fairly close to #1 and easy to get to. Can't guarantee a place to crash as my schedule is a bit silly this time of year but I'm a good cook so there could be a supper available. Perry- 403 922 3713, text or call.

Hi Dave and Don, best advice that I can give you on your truck right now is to get a pair of inline filters, they're about $5 each, put one in the glovebox along with a 5/16 wrench, socket, short extension and ratchet along with a blade screwdriver. Put the other one into your fuel line close to the tank in an easy to access spot, these older fuel tanks usually have rust in them so expect to change the filter by the end of the second refill. I went through 3 filters by the time my tank cleaned itself out and still have a spare in the glovebox. Avoid ethanol fuel with these old trucks as it sometimes likes to vapor lock these older carbs, Shell seems to give me the best mileage and fuel is cheapest in Saskatchewan, it was $1.34.9 here today.
This is my postal code T2B1K9 and it will show you how easy my place is to get to. This is a 4 bdrm house but 1 is the exercise room, 1 is my office, 1 is storage and the cats let me sleep in one. There is a long couch and a short couch though and nobody is allowed to pass out on the pool table. LOL

I've heard co-op fuel has no ethanol but not sure if that is correct. Watch out for the cats at perrys, I hear they are deviants.

Oh man that rules. Okay I will get some filters and also ask the mechanic what he did. I will send you a note when we get to Calgary. Thanks man!

I've got the cats off of the crack nip and back on the Ritalin 77, they're much better now. Am feeding the squirrels the left over crack nip.

Spent the day prepping that new trailer for the camping season. Ripped out the television, installed the batteries and the WDH brackets. Good times.

My house went firm SOLD tonight. Scary market right now as everything around me priced lower has been having price drops and I never had one. 4 viewings in 3 weeks and the 4th bought it. Not a single call in 2 weeks though so pretty lucky and happy!
