Air Bag Spacer Solutions

I installed Air Lift air bags on my truck about 6 months ago. They work great with no issues except one thing.

I have an add-a-leaf installed in my spring pack which I like because it gives me an extra inch in the rear to help with my leveling kit. The problem is that the thickness and height from the extra leaf creates too much of a gap where the top and bottom of the air bags mount.

I bought a 2" Tuff Country air bag spacer to mount under the bags. The problem is that the 2" spacer is too big and keeps the air bags too compressed. It almost feels like it's hitting the bump stop every time I hit a bump. I believe there may not be enough cushion in the air bags and the internal bumper is what is hitting hard.

I know I can remove the extra leaf, but I like the height it gives the rear with having to add air. Has anyone had an issue like this or can think of a solution? I have looked everywhere and cannot find an air bag spacer less than 2".

Take the spacers to a machine shop and have them cut to same thickness as the extra leaf you added?

The bag is definitely too compressed. I already searched a d can't find them but I remember seeing a 1 inch stackable plastic spacer somewhere. As mentioned earlier you can also have that spacer cut down.

Could you use these?

Lock-n-Lift Spacers

They only sell 2, 4 and 6" kits, but it looks like you can use 1" discs at a time to get the lift you need. Get the 2" kit and just use on disc per side?
