Tough steering after hydrooboost and Saginaw upgrade

A few months back I hydroboosted my f250 and put on a Saginaw pump and it is harder to steer than my c2 pump!!! Did I put the wrong fluid in it? I put type f in it and I'm not running a power steering fluid cooler. I am fairly certain all air is out of the system but I'm just lost. This was suppose to be able to make my truck steer at idle with one finger and there is no way I can do that.

Are you sure the pump is good?
How do the brakes feel?

brakes feel great. Pump was bought from O'Reilly's not new but "reman". It is not from a junk yard. It is not noisy so I don't think it is bad

Maybe you need to shim the pump to make a little more psi?

I would suggest you run a cooler, especially if you reshim and since your running a hydroboost on top of steering.

You have to remember a idi weights in around 1200-1400 pounds dressed, one finger steering is almost a fantasy without reshimming the pump
