Engine compartment all cleaned and painted. Still need to "detail it after the install. Again trying to make it look like an OEM install.

The engine looks like it's begging to be put in :-)

Also removed the 241 from the trans, getting ready to redo the 273. Have the new input shaft as well.

Is that a 'Pittsburgh' 4 Ton Floor jack from Harbor Freight? Not to digress, may I ask for your opinion of them as I am looking to pick one up from the local HF store. I am reading a lot of mixed reviews. Are they really rapid pump??

I also have those rapid pump low profile jacks, work great so far and yes they lift quite rapidly.

^ Wow, looking great! I enjoy that that type of work, making "things" "new" again. When I restored my car I had a lot of fun detailing the chassis, stainless brake and fuel lines, correct colors on clips and similar items. Keep up the great work!

I love a painted Frame!

I put a set of grease-able sway bar links on mine X last year. I got mine from NAPA, I'm not sure who actually makes them.

Amazing work! The large pictures are amazing!

Looking good! Couple questions (and apologize if you've already said...I keep looking through the build wondering if I've missed these).

How are you planning on completing/hooking up the power steering? There's several different methods out there. I haven't necessarily settled on one....

The engine paint you reference....any tips or tricks for getting a good finish? I've never actually used a paint gun, so feel free to treat me like a 5 year old I'm sure I'll be getting lots of practice soon...

Thanks!
