Thanks Mike...I purchased a hand pump syphon...figured this was easier on my ol' crippled back...I'll syphon both tanks and get enough fuel to get me to town, then top tanks up...will the syphon get enough out so fresh fuel won't be affected????

If you didn't see any algae or something funky in it, I would fill em up and go

I had a old Jetta diesel sit for ten years, fired it up with the fuel in the tank and it ran great!

you've never had an old jetta. I love my truck, but I have to tip my hat to the jetta I used to have. It was one tough little car

I've read that today's ULSD fuel has a shelf life that is much shorter than the traditonal high-sulphur variety, and when it is mixed with biofuels, the shelf lift is in months, not years.

don't use either, it make a huge flame blow out from the intake when it hits the glow plugs

some diesel engines will spin backwards and break the starter or its mount
