Alliant Power is the exclusive supplier of brand-new, genuine original equipment, HEUI® fuel injectors for 1994-2003 7.3L Ford Power Stroke and International T444E / DT466E / I530E vehicles.
I would never go back to stock on my truck, Even on the stock setting it will run circles around my friends stock 97 and still gets 21 mpg on trips at 75 mph.
It's what ford should have done when they build them, err international I should have said.........
My truck has the original injectors and stock program. I like it that way.
Although I know a lot more horsepower is possible, I consider my ole 'Stroke to be built for the long haul, effectively derated in order to provide more longevity and reliability.
You see such derating in a lot of engines put into commercial vehicles. They are derated in order to make the engine more reliable in continuous applications. When those same engines are put in vehicles used for more light-duty, non-commercial purposes, they are built to provide more horsepower in order to satisfy horsepower-hungry consumers who want to get to the mountain top first at the expense of potentially earlier rebuild.
I don't want to get there first, but I do want to be sure to get there. Just my choice.

Nothing wrong with that. keeps you out of trouble, and hopefully transmissions! +1 for Jim at Roosewood.
Yeah Jim does awesome work and seems to be the most reasonable from what I've read. I haven't dealt with anyone else for injector work, but I don't have a reason too.
When I eventually get around to fixing the motor I just pulled, I'm going to have Roosewood take care of the injectors for that motor. I have two spare set of injectors now, I kinda want to have them both redone and ready to go, but I don't quite have the coin for that now.
I never did understand the talk of stock injectors. Its your RIGHT FOOT that determines the way the motor operates. Stage I's might just save your life if you get into a situation where you need some go power to get out of. Regular oil changes, bypass oil filter will prolong that engine more then just stock injectors. If your spending the money, get stage I's and if you really feel you want to save your motor for when your put into the ground or burned to dust then just keep your foot out of it unless power is needed! You only live once! IMHO
The best that you can get will be brand new Alliant Power injectors. They are 100% brand new.
A cost effective alternative will be our Premium Rebuilds, which we match the AP warranty at unlimited miles 1 year.
I'll add another vote for Stage-1's at minimum. They will run exactly like stock, cost exactly the same, so why not have them there should you decide you want even a little more power? But we do build stock AA's, too, if that's really what you want to do.
Give us a call or shoot me an email if you have any questions.

If you're going to say it, say it right. It's YOLO. Just kidding. I really hate that term. At least, I hate the way it's used in most situations seen online (as in someone screaming yolo then doing something extremely dangerous.)
As for what you are saying, I agree though! I'd go with Stage 1s for all the reasons you and Jim have said!
