I recommend changing it again. This time drain the pan AND the torque converter, or follow this: https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles...-transmission/

It's located on the solenoid body inside the pan.
How many quarts total with the torque converter fluid change? I know the pan hold 15qts

it's honestly not that hard. Everything bolts right in. I bought a donor truck for 800 that had a locked up motor. Pulled what I needed off of it. Re sold it for 400 and then sold my e4od and torque converter for 400. Pretty much broke even. All I had to buy was a new clutch.

Anything can be replaced. The temp sensor is part of the solenoid body, you have to replace the solenoid body to replace the sensor.

The torque converter holds about 8, and the pan holds about 8. There is no way you can get 15 quarts out of a stock pan.

Ditch it and don't look back. Going to a ZF-5, and now the ZF-6, was the best thing I ever did. I tow heavy and quite a bit though, so there is that.

You might want to check the fluid level

In that case, stick with an auto unless you just really want to shift gears.

I'll Definitely think about the swap though. If I can't figure out what's going on with it I'll swap it anyways lol

There ya go. A well built auto is the cat's meow. I just never had a well built one and I went to one of the top in the country. I got tired of watching temps and puking fluid when towing.
