I asked the guys on our NCFTO forum and hopefully some help will come your way from that area.

I have a couple of extra c4’s but they are used / not freshly rebuilt. But they work good. But then I am in Raleigh. But the price is right - $75.

Email me if interested.

I could probably round up some help from the fellas with NCFTO and we could come by and help you out.

Chris, it is setting in it's original home in a '78 F-150 chassis so I am 95% certain it will work. But I will measure it if you like. I had the motor (302) rebuilt for my '76 F-100 last year and the motor had evidence of having over 100,000 mi. on it. I will guarantee the trans. though for your money back and I have another c4 from a '76 as well for small block if needed. I converted all my trucks to my preferance of manuel so the c4's are no longer wanted, just in the way. I drove with both trannies and they drove fine 3-4 years ago.
I'm not logged on during weekends but you can call me on my cel @ 919-795-8456 if you like. I am willing to meet half way (free of charge) or if you can wait a couple weeks until I can get free, I will come down and help install. I have to go to Va. this weekend and am devoted to moving my brother next weekend but I am available 1-31-04 weekend.

John W. (moderator) directed me to your post. Just for you a reference.

Let me know,
Jeremy Jones
