Looking at used Raptors

Well I've been away from the site for a while, but I'm back now. With the recent release of the 2017 Raptor, I've noticed the first generation Raptors are getting more affordable. I've been looking for a while and expect to purchase a good, fairly low mileage Raptor in the next month or so.

I'm looking for any trouble areas on Raptors to be on the lookout for before I make a deal. Any takers?

I'm looking for something with about 60-75,000 miles- maybe lower if it can be had for a reasonable price, prefer SCAB but the wife wants SCREW (and I actually would prefer the 36 gallon tank of the SCREW), must be 6.2 but I might consider a late 2010 model if the price is right, really want the navigation but not a deal breaker, the same for the front torsion limited slip. I love the sun roof, any color but the burnt orange or red (my daughter prefers blue flame and I really like it...). I've found a few with aftermarket lights, bumpers, etc. to which I am not opposed, as long as it has not been too hammered off road (these items tell me the owner likely used it as intended, more than likely...).

The wife seems excited about getting a Raptor too, and my daughter (13) is already asking if she can drive it to school in a few years (not likely!).
Also, does anyone have info on extended warranties for these trucks? I know years ago when I was really active on this site, there were deals online through certain dealerships. Anything like this still available? Thanks!

I bought my 2013 Raptor screw (tuxedo black) back in May. Has 50k. It drives fantastic.
I have had a 2012 5.0 screw Fx4 and a 2014 eco screw Fx4. The Raptor has some differences. In my truck, I have the hot start lifter clack (couple seconds) and the clunky shocks. Average mpg for me is upper 12's. Stock with a MBRP exhaust. Good luck! Pricing was all over the place when I was looking.

My purchase has been delayed, likely for at least a couple months, but I'm still looking. The pricing seems to vary greatly from area to area. At least with a couple more months, I should be able to put down more, either allowing a smaller payment or even better, lower mileage and/or more options!
