Plastic in turbo feed line

2005 f350 6.0 is the truck. Was getting underboost codes and then turbo started making noise like the turbine was hitting the housing. Assumed the underboost was from sticking Vanes but I'm thinking not now. Pulled turbo out and found this chunk of plastic in the oil feed hole. I had this truck apart to do stc fitting previously. Did I just drop this in here or is something from the oil filter housing blowing apart? I didn't recognize the piece at all. Thanks guys

Is the bypass valve in the top of the standpipe in one piece still? Looks almost like one of the tabs from when the spring comes shooting out the top of the oil filter stand pipe.

Looks like one of the tabs from the Crank Case Ventilator. Those are famous for snapping off.

Pcv tabs are intact. And the bypass valve looks to be all in one piece yet. While the turbo is out I'm going to be putting in a new oil cooler. So maybe I'll find something deeper in?

Okay I'm a moron. I was looking at the tabs on the side of the stand pipe. The bypass ball is missing and someone jammed one of those white clips from using aftermarket filter in the top. I've always used motorcraft filters and cap and didn't pay much attention apparently. Didn't realize aftermarket filters would make you do something so stupid... Get a new stand pipe coming and live and learn I guess haha. Thanks guys
