x2...

I'm curious about which amp powersteps you purchased. Specifically, what part number and did you talk to amp research about the fitment since they don't actually market powersteps for these old ford crew cabs.

Chasetrucks754 started down this road with the AMP part #75113-01A kit. It's labeled as being for Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra crew cabs & extended cabs from 1999-2006 & the 2007 "classic". They are 72.5" long.
Another option floated are steps for a 2000 Excursion, AMP part #75104-01A which are 79" and can be cut down.

or maybe 77megacab will beat us all to getting some of these mounted and provide details

Thanks guys, I’m finishing up a 79 f100 coyote swap and then I’ll start back on the crewcab. I’ll start a new thread so I don’t hijack this thread. Working on three 79s at the same time.

HIGHLY recommend starting a thread for ALL of your builds. You sound like you know what you are doing with your trucks.

In the mean time, how is this build coming along?

Any contact information for Addiction Off Road, other than the phone number, to get info on the roof repair pieces you are making?

I do not envy you with that electrical mess. This kind of explains the lack of updates, just boring old wiring stuff.
