Now that it's finished

I have been enjoying cruising around, I had the C6 trans leak fixed now there's not a single leak under the truck!!! I've been hitting some car events locally in Phoenix, all in all I really enjoy it, and it appears all the things I did special seem to be appreciated, I've had so many people taking pics and asking how I did my door panels that it's actually funny as they were probably the easiest custom touch I did. No doubt its and old truck and drives like one but rides really nice with that old volare front end

, but the thumbs up and waves you get are pretty cool, makes all the work worth it. Runs all day long at 160 degrees with my Champion Aluminum radiator and with the big block 390 it'll smoke the back tires off..so now that it's done I bought another project to play with, and build something else cool.
Thanks for all tips, advise and encouragement, couldn't have done it without you all!
Don

Congratulations and well done...you seemed to have a clear vison of what you wanted in your truck and followed through with it. The only mystery to me is how you did it all and still kept your garage so clean!

The next project isn't a truck, I found a 1980 Camaro Berlinetta that is 100% rust free, original owner, all original paper work, title, bill of sale, owners manual with factory AC and only 90,000 miles, my plan is to make something cool out of it, lower it a bit, repaint it the original color which is a really nice blue metallic maybe Z28 stripes, maybe not, tires, wheels exhaust, some z28 factory ground effects, and redo the interior as necessary, I want to see if I can complete it in 8 weeks, I'm not going crazy on this one, just build something that I drive until someone makes me an offer. I've noticed prices of these style Camaro's are creeping up quite a bit, so figured I'd take a shot.

I'm north of carefree highway, every Saturday morning there is a hot rod get together for breakfast at Heart & Soul Cafe on Carefree Highway usually about 25 cars and the 2nd Wednesday (this wednesday) at Connelly's Sports Grill on Carefree Highway closer to the I17.
