Accessories/Mods - What to buy/do first? ("Must-haves")
For those of us ordering trucks we have time before we get them. What should we buy/get to have when the big day arrives?
For those who have their trucks what accessories/mods should be done first? (What did you buy/do?).
Let's get these must-have's identified for those of us who need to know

First mods should be front window tint (assuming the rear windows come tinted from the factory), rear wheel well liners (since they dont come with them from the factory) and tonneau cover(nice to keep your stuff secure and dry, I went with the Pace Edwards Ultragroove)!
After that do what you please but the 3 listed above are a must have.

First Month I've added:
On my list to get:
- Truxedo Truxport tonneau cover. The first one I bought (Extang Tuff Tonneau) didn't fit
- 20% Tint up front
- Moto-Gate net. Cheap alternative to a bed extender, but easy to use and store. Also can somewhat be used as a cargo net to keep stuff towards the tailgate if the item is large enough i.e. cooler.
- Grabbed the letter inserts from the tufskin place that I've heard alot about on this forum. They come in this saturday.
- Mudflaps/splash guards - I grabbed the weathertec ones as they're no drill install and they're cheap compared to the rubber ones out there. They seem to do their job, but I haven't had them all too long.
- Line-X bedliner
On my list to get:
- New wheels and tires, the 18's mine came with don't seem to fill the wheel well as nice as I'd like. I should have opted for the 20s but when ordering there were only 20s on the lot so I didn't think to much of it.
- I think I narrowed it down to the Helo HE835 and 285/65R20 BFG K02
- The dually rear ID lights because they just look nice.
- Floor Liners and wheel well liners come fall time.
- Skid plates for the fuel tank and transfer case once a less costly one is available. In hindsight I should have ordered the truck with them, but I forgot during the order process and when I finally realized I thought they'd be equally as cheap to order outright. They were not, so I wait.

My front bumper was done for $325 Canadian. I also picked up some D Ring shackles to make hooking up safety chains easier and then had them and my hitch pin powdercoated semi-gloss black. IMO they look better and blend into the hitch better so they don't stand out.
