Unhappy 2000 F150 Lariat 5.4 Oil Leak

Hi all, hope everyone is doing great today. I apologize if this has been frequently asked in the past. I am new to the forums and this is my first thread.

So.. I have a possible oil leak as the title said and it's a 5.4 triton.
I believe I'm seeing oil under the frame on the passenger side. I have no idea where the leak is coming from and I know it's not a severe leak it's still concerning and I need your guys' help what it could be.

1. Make sure it is actually oil and not the water condensation dripping off the AC.
2. If you determine that it is oil you can wash the area then watch the area to determine where the leak is coming from.

Thanks for the advice. When I get home from work, I'll check for those. My dad said it was oil but I will actually check up close and clean the wet spot on the frame.

If it is dripping onto the ground you can put a clean sheet of paper directly under the drip and then smell the paper after it drips onto it to see what the fluid actually is.

The exact location of the leak can also be a really good indicator of what the fluid is.

on the passenger side you have the AC drain, heater hoses with antifreeze, and the PCV valve in the cover that COULD leak oil........ Besides that there is the valve cover gasket and head gasket........ look close and cleanup as Sam said.
