Why are my lights flickering
#16
Hi!
Steve, I have used Yorkrim LED bulbs from Amazon with really good results. I changed out all the bulbs in the trailer to them. I did need an "off brand for the 2 reading lights in the bed room and the one outside for the porch light. 1156 equal LED. The only bulbs still incandesent are the brake lights and the service light on the side were the sewer line would be located. My experience is the LEDs use less power, much more brighter, the wife and be inside the trailer without issue (headaches with the old bulbs) All the marker bulbs were changed to LEDs.
Now my convertor had cracked solder joints. My FiL resoldered the entire board for me and tested to make sure it would hold load which it did. I still carry the 10 Amp battery charger which will run the trailer with no problem. I ran the heater, water pump and all the lights and was just started to make a dent in the gauge. I would say that was pretty good
My truck is completely LED except in the dash. The interior lights are done though. Exterior lights all LED except the headlights. I went to the Yorkrims I used in the trailer. The local Ford dealer made the changes in the BCM for the LEDs not to fast flash. Not an issue. They did the change while I had a set of keys cut. Basically the truck is a 194 equivalent when it LEDs. I think I used 2 10 packs to the do the whole truck when it came to 194s. There were an equal long bulb for the back seat map and interior lights.
In short, I used the Yorkrim 194 equal. Everything else I used well reviewed and rated equals. So far so good with them.
good luck....
