So I pulled the trigger the pintop 2.5, steering stabilizer, and 17 inch wheels. Austin from CJC was a cool guy to work with. So do I get 37x12.50s or 13.50s? Would you 37 guys with stock radius arms chime in please? Also anybody know if a 37 spare will fit underneath? Thank you!

So I got all my stuff today and called the local tire shop to get the Toyo 37x12.50x17 for the truck and got shut down. Dude goes hey these are D rated you don’t want those anyway can’t get em try discount. So I call the discount tire I worked at 25 years ago in high school and they say yeah can’t sell em to you for your truck cause they came with load range E and I say look at the math the tires hold a ton of air and they said still no dice. So I can get 37x13.50s and run till I can afford a solution like radius arms or I can do 35s. Thoughts?

A 37 is not going up under without some significant modification.
I have a '17 F350 6.7, Pintop 2.5, Carli track bar, stock arms, full pack Deavers, and Firestone air bags over Daystar Cups. Method standards at +18, 18 inch Grapplers 37x12.5.
At 12.5 I have a minor rubbing at full lock, not sure what 13.5 might do.
My truck with this setup drives and rides like an absolute dream. I have no complaints, everyone that rides in or drives it is amazed, and my wife no longer wants to drive our Lexus.
I don't understand the hesitation towards the full Deaver/air bag/daystar combo other than the additional investment. To me it's very flexible. Excellent ride unloaded and loaded and towing my 5th wheel air bag setup is perfect.

Its all about offset. my 2.5" with 4.8" BS (0 offset) on 17's - no rubbing with toyo 37x12.5. I can see why a +18 would rub though

I was not clear earlier when I was typing and driving around a job. I CAN get the 37 D rated at a few different tire stores I know with no problem but I think it’s not a good idea for only one reason...liability in the event of an accident. I have got sued in 2011 for an accident in my 07 Dodge that had a full KORE 3” lift rocking bill stein 7100 resi’s, full built Gorend trans motor work, programmed and studded 5.9 (man I miss that truck!)I had to explain every aftermarket item on the truck during the deposition in detail including load range rating of my 35x12.50 Toyo MTs. The other lawyer did a pretty good job asking questions that made these aftermarket parts kinda call my judgement into question. I did not have a trailer in the accident rather I was T boned by a beautiful drunk girl and she sued me. She did not win but it opened my eyes to the whole liability thing. If it had been my fault or at least partially my fault (in Texas you can share fault from 10% to 90%) and it would have involved extra weight (payload or trailer) and not enough tire on paper, I could have found myself in a tight spot. Especially if someone had been hurt. So are there any other 37x12.5 tires that are Great like the Toyota that are E rated? Holler if y’all know and thanks again!

That said - my Toyo's are rated at 3525lb (the E's are 4300). My rims capacity is 3600 lb (which even expensive forged rims top out at - https://www.innov8racing.com/product...k-studs-17x8-5) I feel 3525 is enough for the load capacities I run.
If I ever need more load capacity - I will just pop my stock rims/tires on for that trip.
