Loss of vacuum while towing

Having trouble with vacuum on my '06 CCLB V10. I only lose vacuum while towing, not sure why. Lines all seem like they're fine. I have no issues while unloaded. Any ideas what could be causing this?

How low is vacuum dropping compared to not towing? It is normal to lose some vacuum as the engine is pulling harder and the throttle plate is open farther.

I guess I can't say, but it's definitely hard enough to default my air to the defroster.

4x4 or 2whi Drive? Did you check your booster and all the vacuum lines? When you default to defrost, how's your braking ability? Check your PCV for cracks?

4WD, braking still feels solid, lines all seemed just fine, I did not look over the pcv. Guess I should do that. *Edit* Looks like the 3v V10 does not have a serviceable PCV.

Check the 4wd solenoid. That can be cracked and cause loss of vacuum.

The booster? Brake booster? I'll check that solenoid.

Correct, the brakes are vacuum assisted, it could be leaking air.
