You can use either if it is a left-handed circular poll model. It serves to null out those pesky intermods when making the adjustment on the spectrum analyzer.

As i understand it the spectrum analyzer uses a dipole field. Might have better luck running two of them in tandem or with a quadrupole multi-focusing unit between the sector lens and the ion source. Unless you oscillate the magnitization on the dipole you'll have to peak-hop and optimize the dwell time for isobaric stability.

Yep! Or is all of this doesn't work, install some pedals on the front wheels.

I'll buy a few if you can tweak it to put the ECM of a tailgating driver into limp home mode.
