Yet another!
2.7 into a 10th Gen Truck!
Too easy! Direct bolt in using stock crossmember. Just move crossmember back a few inches into existing holes. About a 5 min job.

Wow, that's great! Do you have completed project pictures, or is it still a work in progress?

How difficult do you think it would be to put a 2.7 into a 9th Gen OBS truck that's 4x4?

should not be an issue in any truck with 34 wide frame. Perfect fit in 1965-79 4x4 so cannot imagine any Ford truck it would be issue fitting it

I will find pics of a 2.7 in a 1966 4x4.
Have also done 2 3.5 eco in 1966 4x2s.

I like packaging a bit a bit better on 2015 & up ecos.

This is intriguing. That 2.7 has more power, torque, and should get double the fuel mileage than my mildly built 351w. I'm surprised more people aren't doing this swap. Your picture above shows the steering column and climate control system. These are required to perform the swap? What about the instrument cluster. Can the 2.7 Ecoboost swap be done on these trucks without changing those things? I'm reading through your thread on garage journal now, impressive work!

Eco1 had all electronics.

Eco2 is 180 deg off. Using just what is needed to properly work engine and transmission. Using stock steering column with stock dash but gauges have been upgraded to look stock but are actually aftermarket to work with canbus.

For a swap one can use the one plugin cluster from donor truck or there is plenty of aftermarket clusters avail.

Next up swap hoping to select electronics I want in build.
