The stump burned all last night and is burning now. The center has burned a 15" hole 6" deep. Stump is about 20" across. I let it burn down today, the neighbors were opening their windows because it was so nice out. Patty cooked hot dogs for lunch over the fire.

I figure another day and a half of burning and it will be ready to cover with dirt and seed.

Going to let it burn all night tonight. It has a lid from our charcoal grill over it.

That's good... They say that fire in Utah was started by someone using a torch to burn leaves..

Was still hot and red when I uncovered it this morning. Threw a log on it and in a few minutes it was blazing again.
