I just picked up a 1960 with a 292. I'm in the process of trying to get the front clip off. I feel dumb I can't find the rear bolts on the fenders. Any help and tips would be much appreciated.
Welcome to the forum. You will need a good light and a small hand. Open the door and look where the hinges are. The fender will have bolts on it. So, you are looking for nuts. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, just ask.
Found them thank you. Now the fun part hopefully they don't snap on me.
Snapping isn't bad, it's when the head spins out in it's slot that things get interesting. But not near as interesting as spinning out a cage nut trying to remove the grill. There are a couple of those that are a real bear.
