I have owned this for a while and am going to finish it over this winter coming. i have been buying and stocking up on parts to

get it done...the question i have is this is a factory paint job from what i remember but the say they never had a Blue XLS package

Wikipedia says from 82-86 for the F-series :

• XLS: A new trim level that featured a blacked-out grille, bumpers, headlight bezels, and windshield trim. It also featured a stripe graphics package and black and silver dash trim. Available exterior colors were red, silver, black, and very rare brite blue.

Looks like you just have a rare color!

 

yeah i guess so all the reason why to finish it..busting *** and saving money to build an NOS motor so i can race it next year
