I've seen a few people have had problems with this issue.

If a person wanted to try and prevent this so they weren't stuck on the side of the road and replaced the tubes with aluminum ones, could Ford/dealer deny warranty clams to other parts issues in the future?

Does the Rudy's require a tune?

Let us know how it works once you install.

The only ones that require a tune are the ones that eliminate the throttle body. The only one I've seen that does this is one of the two varieties built by H&S. The Rudy's keeps the throttle body, and does not need a tune.

The benefit of the Mishimoto is you don't have to move the remote res.

Mine just arrived and I took one look at the parts and sent Rudy's Diesel a request for instructions. But, get this: There are 5 new reviews of the kit over the past few days in addition to the original 3 reviews! All positive except for the one guy whose package got lost in shipping. Those $140 kits are flying off the shelf!
To anyone who has installed theirs, can you do a write up on the installation and whether the PS reservoir needed to be offset. Pictures would be great. I am not as mechanically inclined as I was at a younger age.
I just took a look and think I have most of it figured out. The short rubber boot goes on the bottom of the intercooler with a clamp at both ends and the long curved pipe with the TB plug fitting goes into that with the fitting hole closest to the short boot. Then the long rubber boot to that with a clamp on each end. The short pipe goes directly on the TB and fastened with the original spring clip. It looks like by twisting the piping, you should be able to clear the PS reservoir. I don't see where you would relocate it to.
It is VERY important to save the retaining spring and o-ring from the TB boot to use on the new part.

Here is my write up on the H&S install that required moving the PS reservoir. As you can see in the pics, it is simply a bracket and two screws. I can't imagine any of the others being much different.

Good job! Can you give a rough measurement of the offset bracket between the hole centers?

Ok, so, the Mishimoto is installed. Can't say for sure its installed correctly, as there were no instructions in the box. Not hard to figure out, but comes with a 4", 3.5", and 2 - 3.25" clamps. The 4" location is obvious, but not the 3.5" vs the 3.25". I took Monty's advice and used some windex to make the connections move easier for adjusting, which made all the difference in the world. PS reservoir did NOT require relocating. I had to reuse stock o-ring and spring clip even though they say they are now shipping with the kit. I guess my kit might have been prior to that change. Clamps are all 10mm, and require deep socket to torque.

I did a few full throttle runs getting turbo spooled up over 20psi, and everything held together.

I have emailed Mishimoto support for some instructions, and for the supplied o-ring and spring clips, and may have to make some adjustments based on what they come back with.

Got my H&S today. Opened the box and took a look. The adapter to the throttle body is a work of art. Very nicely machined part. Still pathetic for the money they can't include a new o ring. I need to go to the dealer for more pm22 so I will pick one up. Won't have time to install before leaving Friday though.
