Body is in great shape, interior is so so.
Runs great,
some repairs needed, speedometer not working, abs light on, air only blows out the defrost vent, drivers window needs help going up.
Very little blow by and does not smoke when it is revved up

 

I say buy it as long as the mill is good and that it's priced right.

 

He wants to trade for my 99 superduty f250 PSD auto 4x4 extended cab shord bed 180k my pickup has a flatbed/spike bed on it

 

Then no I would keep your current truck.

 

I'm with Adam on this. If the price was right I would not be afraid of the mileage and the issues you listed. Although, since he wants to trade for your truck, no way...

 

What price would you put on his truck and maybe mine?

Not seeing the truck in person is difficult but from your description I say his will be 4-6K your is a bit less desirable because of the extended cab but my guess would be about the same price range or maybe a bit higher considering you have alot less miles.

 

Who found who? Were you looking for a new truck or was he? He's got a crew cab, you've got an extended cab flat bed. What shape is yours in compared to his? By spike bed if you mean hay spear with hydraulic lift, then that's worth more than the crew cab so yours would need to be at least semi trashed or more for a fair trade it sounds like.

 

Well not to make it a long story. My brother and I partnered on the ex cab.
Yes it has the hay Speer.
The interior on the ex cab is nicer but the paint has more scratches.
The CC interior needs a major cleaning. Body is in better shape and runs better.
We bought the ex cab for $4k .
I guess brother traded today.
I am not sure I want to keep it. Thats a lot of miles. But whats done is done.
I am in the market for a CC pickup. I am not sure I want a PSD though.

 

I'll probably be buried in my 2001.....
