Transmission recommendation
Hi all,
Anyone have a recommendations for aftermarket (shipped to door, bolt in) transmission to replace the current in a 1988 F -350 with a C6 (3speed/2wd/460) that tows heavy loads and a big camper.!??

You have only two automatic options, and only one is a bolt-in, no hassle affair: The C6. The other option is the E4OD. You can run one with an aftermarket transmission controller, and it would be a significant upgrade compared to your C6. Especially if you get one of the later 95-97 E4ODs.
There are a few manual transmissions that could also work.
