Twin turboing (very small turbos) a stock 1982 302 for low end torque?
So i have this 1982 F100 that will be mine untill I die or untill it falls apart (it was my grandfathers truck.
I plan to run a FItech self tunning efi throttle body and mainly use this truck for towing/ daily driving.
Obviously the 302 is suffering some low end torque so I was considering running 2 VERY small t25 turbos for q super quick spool and do maybe a max of 7 or 8 psi boost. I have looked into heads, cams, bumping compression, ect ect but I could care less about power above 3000 rpm.
The engine in the truck is a low mile stock rebuild so im sure it has cast pistons witch would probably be my weak link?
Im used to diesels and as much as I wish this was.... its not, any input will be appreciated.

I would LOVE to swap in a 351W, But I cannot find any. I could however possibly buy a 351M from my cusin but it needs to be rebuilt and by I need to keep overdrive, I had no idea ford parts were so hard to come by.
My current 302 doesnt make hardly any power passed 4000rpm with its stock truck flat tappet cam and 80's heads witch I would leave. I do question the longevity of it with boost at low RPM though.

351M is no go at any price. Bell pattern is different, and stock you might as well stick with a 302.
Later model GT 40 heads off an Explorer will help your motor. The EFI may help a bit as well. Beyond that, a better cam. But if you open up the intake side and bump compression a bit, you should get noticeably more power.
Of course, if you find an Explorer with a 302, just take the whole motor.
The have better cams and iirc, maybe even a roller cam.

There is 1 and only 1 way to get lowend torque from a 302.. forced induction, so I say have at it just to be different, all the other recipes for power with this motor make it even more of a low rpm pouch that what you have now.
But on the other hand.. there is only so much torque a gasoline motor can generate before detonation occurs so while you can make improvements this setup will still fall well short of just about any stock diesel pickup truck sold in the last 20 years with a ceiling of about 450 ft-lbs of torque
So if you can't find a 351w to use then get the next best thing.. a 347 stroker rotating assembly. Add forged pistons to that and some boost and now you will have a package that will stress the limits of the rest of the powertrain.
