Hi all, need help with wiring problem after putting a Cummins, and a nv4500 5spd. in a 99 f350 that had a 7.3 auto. Everything is in runs, and drives, but now the wipers, and power windows won't work. I'm sure some one else has done this swap, but can't find anything about the auto trans wiring. Thanks

 

The wipers and power windows have nothing to do with the automatic trans wiring. Did you check all the fuses?

 

Thanks Krewat, Yes all fuses are good, everything worked until I removed the auto. trans. Don't know what wires from trans. go through the body module. Could be a ground, or hot? I am sure some one some where has put a nv4500 in a SD. Thanks

 

You can rip the entire auto trans harness out and it won't effect the wipers or windows.
My 04 has 2 hot leads coming off the batteries that power the fuse box, pull the fuses and check both sides of the fuse plug to see if one side is hot with the key on.
I think you may have left a wire unhooked.

I'm guessing the engine and trans came together making it the cheapest and easiest way to do the conversion.
Several have done that swap, I'm just not a fan of a nv4500.
