Are tops available for even the longest beds of the F-250?
I'm interested in a high one like this Century T-class:



for a F250 such as the one from 2013:




Is it tough to find high tops for the really long beds? Are there any known technical or mechanical limitations? Noise problems? Anything else?
I'll be getting a 4WD, likely gas but haven't purchased yet.

I would go with the walkin door model...and yes..I had one on my 2008 f-350 long bed.

these things all have problems leaking and you can basicaly open one up with a plastic butter knife.

the leak problems make them in practicle for use as a camper unless you like sleeping in a puddle of water. tried all the mega seal tricks and even put drain holes in all the corners but still had water problems.

some folks like them for dog transport and I guess dogs are more tolerant to water than the wife and kids.

 

you can even custom order them.. to size you want.. type of doors... with and without windows.. roof vents... lights...

carpeting ...
a while back my father-in-law had one made so there was 7 feet of vertical room inside.. F 350 long bed (8 foot)

 

speakerfritz, are you saying that the one in the picture I supplied is one of the leakers that you can bust into with a butter knife?
Not sure what you mean by the "walk-in" type.

 

I had a Century for several years.. never leaked.. just not the high one.

its not a fort knox but OK...
